Our mission is to support public safety and make our communities better, safer places in which to work and live. We accomplish this by building partnerships across community and government organizations.
By first responders, for first responders the communities they serve. That’s who we are. The Mountain View Public Safety Foundation (MVPSF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation formed by local business leaders and community members to support public safety, police activities leagues and community outreach programs.
We support innovative and positive ways to connect communities and local public safety. Our ultimate goal is to make our communities a better, safer place to live, work and visit.
As a nonprofit focused on police, fire and the community members we serve, our values embody who we are and what we represent:
- We value honest collaboration and partnerships.
- We focus on empathy for those we serve.
- We speak and act with integrity and understanding.
- We embrace diversity and respect each other’s differences.
- We create continuous learning and improving ways to serve public safety and our community.
MVPSF has supported and partnered with several community programs and organizations to provide necessary training and equipment for our first responders along with key officer wellness trainings so that they are taken care of both in mind and in body. In addition, MVPSF helps to coordinate awareness for and training around emergency preparedness for community members and has had long standing programs that help bring food and other resources to those in need.
