IdaRose Sylvester
IdaRose is a community leader, focused on enhancing the lives of those she serves. She founded a successful consulting practice, Silicon Valley Link, and the award winning nonprofit, Appetite for Good, which served thousands of meals to our community members in need during the pandemic, and helped save dozens of local restaurants.
She currently teaches leadership and entrepreneurship, often outside the US. She serves on the Mountain View Parks and Recreation Commission, and is a board member of both the Community Services Agency and Mountain View Historical Association, along with other local organizations. She is also a mediator with the Mountain View Mediation Program, and a leader in her neighborhood association, where she runs a famous Halloween block party that delights thousands.
IdaRose has lived in Mountain View for 25 years, and while her favorite pastime is supporting the community she loves, she also loves the outdoors, travel, her garden, pets, and time with family and friends.
