Bruce Barsi
Bruce Barsi was born and raised in Mountain View/Los Altos where he currently resides with his wife Suzanne. He graduated from Saint Francis High School and San Jose State University. Bruce retired as a Captain from the Mountain View Police Department following a thirty-year career in law enforcement and currently serves as the Cops & Gobblers program lead.
He is a member and past President of the Mountain View Rotary Club. He serves as a Board Member and is also a Past Board President of the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC). He is a member and past Chair of the Mountain View Los Altos Community Roundtable and is also active in the Challenge Team and CSA.
Bruce along with Steve Mellow started the Thanksgiving food drive Cops & Gobblers with 15 baskets in 1998. Cops & Gobblers now serves over 400 families each year! In his spare time, Bruce enjoys many outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, biking and hiking.
