David Longshore
David served in the United States Army for 20 years and was stationed in Mountain View for 6 of those years. While there, he met and married his wife who served over 15 years with the Mountain View Police Department. As their family grew, they dedicated themselves to supporting MVPD youth programs and the Police Activities League.
Upon his retirement from the Army he entered a career in electronic manufacturing where he now serves as Chief Operating Officer. David implemented an internship program in his corporation for youth in PAL as well as provided corporate sponsorship for PAL sports and fundraising events.
He was presented with the Citizen Police Service Award in recognition of his service to MVPD and the community. David graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration and from numerous military leadership and specialty schools to include Airborne, Drill Sergeant and Ranger School. David brings strong leadership skills to the MVPSF board.
