Lloyd D. Curns
Born in San Francisco, Lloyd was raised in Vallejo, Fairfield and also lived in Richmond. He graduated Los Medanos Police Academy and was hired by Mountain View Police Department in 1996 as a police officer.
Lloyd’s retired as a School Resource Officer with MVPD in early 2022. He has deep roots in Youth Services and the PAL program for 24 years. He held specialty assignments as a Traffic Officer, Motorcycle Instructor, Bicycle Officer, Bicycle Instructor, EVOC Instructor, D.A.R.E Officer, Explorer Advisor and PAL Officer.
Lloyd’s positive attitude, friendly and professional reputation of serving our community make him a valued member of our team. He has been a youth advocate for over thirty years and brings extensive training and experience to Mountain View Public Safety Foundation.
