Mountain View Public Safety Foundation (MVPSF) has partnered with Nor Cal Shomrim and HIDTA for this unique training opportunity providing insight into how modern high tech plays a role in narcotic investigations in Israeli law enforcement.
From collaboration with the Ecuadorian Special Police and Military uncovering the first ever narco-submarine to long term investigations related to the first phone applications developed to purchase illegal street drugs, the Shomrim team will discuss how international drug cartels are utilizing high tech tools in the sale and distribution of illegal drugs and how the Israeli police investigate them.
Instructors will also shed light on how to create and maintain effective relationships between local and foreign agencies and the role of Israeli attaché in the US. This course is a rare opportunity and Nor Cal Shomrim’s first time in the United States.
