Cops & Gobbler “Back-to-School” relief

Cops & Gobblers helped families with children during the start of the school year with a “back-to-school” food bag and a $50 Safeway gift card.

Together with partners like the Albertsons and Safeway Nourishing Neighbors program, we can make a difference for families facing food insecurity. This issue increased dramatically in our community during 2020 and it continues to be a significant problem in 2021. The Cops & Gobblers program is proud to be able to help families with children as they begin the new school year.

We are most grateful to Albertsons and Safeway and all their generous customers for helping fight hunger in our community. “These funds will go a long way to provide healthy nourishment for the children of our community.”

Cops and Gobblers Food Donation Program

Cops & Gobblers is fortunate to be the recipient of a generous grant from the Albertsons Foundation and Safeway Nourishing Neighbors program that makes this opportunity to help families with children possible.

Cops & Gobblers was able to give over 200 families a “back-to-school” food bag and a $50 Safeway gift card on Saturday, September 25th 2021 at the Mountain View Police Department. The event was a contact-less drive-thru pick up to adhere to all safety protocols.
