Mountain View, Calif. (July 8, 2019) — MVPD Gets a New Coffee Machine
Captain Chris Hsiung announced today a newly installed Bean to Cup Coffee machine addition to the Mountain View Police Department’s break room. Staff from the police and fire department will now be able to enjoy custom coffee and hot drinks prepared on site in the headquarters break room.
The machine offers a sustainable way to enjoy coffee using reusable mugs most staff have at their office desks or in their patrol cars. The machine also has exciting features and can brew a variety of drinks including mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, and of course, coffee! A touch screen menu guides the user through a selection to customize the strength, blend, cream, and flavor of the drink.

The purchase of the machine and the success of the project was made possible from the financial support of the Mountain View Public Safety Foundation, the Mountain View Police Officer’s Association, members of command staff and professional groups within the police department.
